2004, PhD in Physics, University of Toronto; postdoctoral fellowship, National Science and Engineering Research Council of Canada, University of Cambridge. Scientist working experimental condensed matter physics; research is focused on understanding electronic properties of correlated electron materials including superconductors, novel magnets and quantum critical systems. Currently, runs research group, Cavendish Laboratory, Cambridge. Fellow, acting Dean and Director of Studies in Physics, Corpus Christi College. Expertise: experimental measurements of electrical and thermal transport at ultra-low temperatures and high magnetic fields. Interests: science and education policy, particularly those related to innovation.
