Blanke is Deputy Head of the Centre for Global Strategies, the Forum’s in-house think tank on forward-looking global issues. Prior to this she was, for several years, responsible for the Forum’s benchmarking, competitiveness and risks analysis, co-authoring the Global Competitiveness Report, the Global Risks Report and serving as lead editor on regional and topical economic reports. Previously, she was Senior Programme Manager for the Forum’s Annual Meeting in Davos.
Blanke writes and lectures around the world on productivity, competitiveness and economic development. Before joining the Forum in 1998, she worked as a management consultant for Mazars Group in Paris, where she specialized in banking and financial-market organization. She holds degrees in international relations, international affairs and international economics
