Elizabeth Maw

Executive Director, Net Impact

Liz Maw is the Executive Director of Net Impact, an international non-profit with a mission to inspire, educate and equip individuals to use the power of business to create a more socially and environmentally sustainable world. Under Maw's leadership, Net Impact has more than tripled paid membership, grown the chapter network to over 250 and launched new initiatives for campus, community and workplace change - ultimately connecting over 15,000 professionals and students globally. Maw's professional experience includes non-profit strategic consulting with the Bridgespan Group, as well as fundraising and marketing for non-profit organizations in New York City and Washington DC. She holds a BA with honours from Yale University and an MBA from Columbia Business School, where she co-led the student Net Impact chapter and received the Joanne Martin Award for Public and Non-profit Management. Maw also spent one semester as an exchange student at the Haas School of Business at University of California, Berkeley. As a volunteer, she co-launched Net Impact's first professional chapter in 2002 in San Francisco.
