The Tech Pioneers’ schedule is going to be busy as usual. We are truly looking forward to the different sessions and interactions with the 24 Tech Pioneers who are participating in this year’s Annual Meeting. This is really a unique occasion for all of us to connect, as well as share ideas and challenges across communities and among participants from, as Professor Klaus Schwab said this morning, all walks of life.
The Tech Pioneers will be welcomed tonight at the traditional Technology Pioneers welcome reception and dinner, bringing together Tech Pioneers and an impressive number of representatives from the Forum’s Strategic Partner companies, Selection Committee members and other friends of the community.
After the welcome festivities – and a number of sessions in the public programme where many of the Tech Pioneers will occupy an active role during the next few days – the Tech Pioneers will join the Social Entrepreneurs and Global Shapers communities on Friday for the Dynamic Trio session, which will address and discuss issues that these three communities share. The session will focus on entrepreneurship and how these three communities fit into the broader network of the World Economic Forum. In addition, the session will offer a platform to explore how these communities can better interact inside and outside the Forum.
On Saturday, the Tech Pioneers will get together for the last Tech Pioneer private session, a workshop with Partners to discuss latest innovations and technologies and how they impact business and society. I am sure that it will be a great way to wrap up this week’s events and share last minute Davos impressions among peers before heading to the last sessions of the Annual Meeting 2012.
For those of you who are not in Davos, you can still follow the events, favourite moments, etc., on our blog, Twitter, Forum Facebook page and YouTube, where Tech Pioneers and other participants will be sharing their experiences.
It’s going to be an exciting week, so stay tuned!
